About the Jet City Shockwave Distortion Pedal

The Jet City Shockwave Distortion is a full-on distortion pedal for use with any amp. Used with a clean, or semi-clean amp setting, the Shockwave distortion will add enough distortion to perform like a 2nd channel with a completely different tone.

Jet City Shockwave Distortion Pedal Reviews

This pedal sounded great when I first got it. Very nice crunchy distortion, very reminiscant of Jet City amp tone. Unfortunately, it developed a loud buzz that was ruining the tone. The buzz was even too loud with a bucker guitar. Eventually, it just squeeled feedback as soon as I stepped on the switch. I returned it and got a replacement. The 2nd one was a complete kill switch. When in bypass mode, everything was normal. Switch it on, and the LED comes on, and all sound goes away. Kill switch. So, needless to say I didn't try my luck with a 3rd one. Maybe I just got unlucky. I don't know. I didn't read any problems with quality before I bought the pedal. It would be a good product if it could stand the test of time.
